But I should also add that being home to the largest Army base in the US (Fort Hood) makes it very unlikely that Texas could ever be independent of the US - although I guess they could turn it into the US Embassy here. :)
Just curious - for those who are saying the mom is crazy and that this is "bad parenting": Do you have children of your own? And if so, how would you handle this situation?
For the record, I think the mom had the right to sell the car if it was hers to sell and the son broke the rules (we don't know what kind of rules were set down when he got the car). However, I don't think I would have aired my dirty laundry out in such a public way. And yes, I do have kids.
My 10 year old son is an origami enthusiast, and Robert J. Lang is his hero. While other kids in his 4th grade class are looking up to sports stars, singers and actors, my son wants to grow up to be just like Dr. Lang.
Those who think Texas would be its own country (again) in a situation like this are spot on. We would probably put Willie Nelson on the Texas $1.
It would be fascinating to me to see how scores break down among liberals and conservatives...
I love how Mr. 15 is sooooo 15. Also, Mr. 37 looks like they caught him on his way out for a smoke or something.
