@Tiny Dancer - if you don't already have it, check out the book "It's a Wonderful Life: A Scene-by-Scene Guide to the Classic Film" by Michael Willian. I got a lot of my factoids from that book - it's totally fascinating. Even if you know most of it, I bet you pick up another tidbit or two! It made me happy just reading it. :)

And, @Muppetmaker - weekly post? I like it. Maybe I could even solicit movie suggestions in the forms and pick my favorite every week. Alex, what say you? :)

Evilbeagle, I'm totally with you. I see how protective my dogs are of one another and have no doubt they would do something like that if one of the other ones was hit by a car. I saw the video on Mollygood a couple of days ago and it made me tear up (and I NEVER cry).

They shoot hot dogs at ICubs games as well - it's fun and no one gets injured. And they are definitely eaten. If you're going to be worried about projectiles at baseball games, I'd be much more concerned about the ball. :)

Wow! I'm impressed that it has so many backers! I will definitely admit the warmth would be nice, but it just looks so weird. I can't get past hanging out on my couch in a giant sack.

Lizzy - my source for that particular piece of information is the book "Five Easy Decades: How Jack Nicholson Became the Biggest Movie Star in Modern Times" by Dennis McDougal... so if that is an incorrect fact, I place the blame squarely on Mr. McDougal :)
