It's water with STUFF IN IT. The degreaser is water with sodium ions in it. The disinfectant is water with chloride ions in it. Put another way, salt water is "just water" that happens to have BOTH sodium ions and chloride ions in it.
When separated it won't last long, and (I'm guessing) ends up as lye for the sodium side and and hydrochloric acid for the chloride side, but it probably depends a whole lot on what else is in the water you started with.
