I don't understand why the report kept saying it was personal. Officer: "We have families". What's that got to do with anything?
Maybe it will teach him to do his job rather than spending time on duty in Burger King. Then maybe he could drop a few pounds and be able to run down a perp or two.
BTW, can anyone else see the face in the sesame seeds on the burger at the beginning of the report?
My naem is Sid and I'm a 30 yr-old from the South East of the UK. Im a Graphic Designer and Illustrator by day and a Musician, Artist, Skeptic and (pretty bad) Poker Player by night. I'm also looking forward to moving in with my Girlfriend on Saturday.
I have been reading Neatorama for just over a year and been occasionally commenting for six months I guess. It's usually the first thing I do when I get into work in the morning and it always sets me up for the day. Thanks for all your efforts in keeping me entertained (and sane at work)!
Besides, aren't the charts used by astrologers thousands of years old? Haven't the positions of the stars changed in relation to us? Even if it did work for the Sumerians (or whoever) would it still work for us? And what is the purported mechanism for the influence that heavenly bodies have on us. Apart from Keira Knightley of course. The influence of her heavenly body is plain for all to see.
Looks like they might be having sone problems getting this project off the ground **BUT** you can buy shares. The minimum stake is 10 shares, which by my(admittedly, probably wrong) calculations works out at about £80 or $160! Surely Neatorama's readers could make this happen!
Wow, there are people on here defending astrology.
BTW, some people may suggest that anyone who uses the phrase "cling to a materialist philosophy" to describe someone who looks at the evidence of a claim before basing their beliefs on it do so just to make themselves feel superior.
My first thought was of the privacy implications of "bugging" private citizens too (I am in the UK but I'm not sure of the law). I guess if they already suspected him of the crime then it's okay.
That's it, I'm arming myself, buying a lot of tinned goods, investing in a compound and moving away from the city. I don't feel safe living in a world with these people. Someone please air-drop a message to tell me when all the craziness is over and tell my mother I love her.
"pasty english glow" or not, they aren't Brits; wrong kind of outlet as far as I can tell.
Assuming they aren't on holiday somewhere I guess. Actually, yes that's a far more likely situation. Bad tan lines on the guy on the left, a selection of different local beers that I don't recognise, the flip flops holding the extension cord. This just has to be Brits abroad. Tenerife is my guess.
Very sad. When people get sucked in by quackery, bilked out of (a lot of) cash by hucksters, it causes them genuine harm and they still shout the effectiveness of their quack tratement from the rooftops. This guy could become the ultimate spokesman *against* this bullcrap but instead helps to prop up the industry by continue to buy this rubbish. Very, very sad.

Could you expand on how you think us Europeans do view capital punishment these days, just out of interest?

It says: "try dragging the dot in the direction of the arrow". What dot? I can't make anything move. Help!
