Oh, mathematics is the primary language in explaining physical phenomenon, so I agree with the above comment that mathematics and physics are interconnected of each others.

Pi is irrational number, and there are so-many approximate formula it. Unfortunately until 2500 years after archimedes we don't still know what is the exact formula for the pi, so we only celebrate it as pi day.
