Stupid, stupid people. And the best part is that we're paying for it and being held hostage by it here in America. We're thousands of miles away but still strangled in the tentacles of middle eastern superstitions, xtians, jews, and muslims. And the double-best part is that if you criticize any of them, you get called out for being "prejudiced". Especially the jews, who call anybody who looks at them funny an "anti-semite". What a wonderful thing, religion....

Yes it's wrong that McD didn't give her money back but at the same time it's even more wrong that this idiot is calling 911 about it. It's just a symptom of a society that teaches everyone that the world owes them something, that "the customer is king" and that not getting a refund at McDonalds is justification to call 911 - three times!!! Maybe the reason us Floridians don't know much about noodling is because we might run into a gator instead of a catfish. Anyhow, I salute you and here's to alligator nuggets, crab boils, cheese grits and fresh catfish caught by hot chicks in bikinis! If anyone can't "understand" that then too bad for them...
I'm not sure it's fair to say that you don't understand the South vis a vis "noodling" and characterize it as the only way Southerners know how to fish. Growing up the first 20 years of my life in the deep south (N. Florida), I never even heard of it. We use poles and reels. But so what? Sometimes we tie a piece of chicken to a string and catch bucketfulls of blue crabs. Make fun of us all y'all want, we'll be here enjoying the warm weather eating fresh catfish and mountains of boiled crab. Feel real sorry for us, it's awful!

I can hear it!!!! I'm 40, I was a professional club DJ for 4 years and I blew my ears out, I listen to music WAY too loud on my iPod and in my car, but I can still hear it! Take it from me, kids, go ahead and rock out!!!!!
This brings back memories of living in Alameda. I always thought it was a strange place too. It was my favorite place I lived in the Bay Area. The entire island has the mood of a Jim Jarmusch film. I had a mentally retarded neighbor who talked to dogs. I'd attempt to talk to him as I ate the oranges off my tree in the front yard, but he only talked to dogs. I also remember the giant sea lion that washed up on shore on Crown Beach state park. He was there for days, just rotting and bloating in the sun. There was a Thai restaraunt that must have been made for midgets, as the ceilings were about 5 feet tall. And the waffle shop was fantastic, best waffles ever. It's a strange place, Alameda.

Keep it classy, Anthony! That's the spirit! If you had half a brain cell you'd realize that "the south" didn't all vote 100% for McCain. In fact, several southern states went for Obama, including mine, Florida. What you are witnessing is the birth of the New Southern Democrat. Don't let your prejudice ruin the moment of unity we are all feeling here in America, southerners included. Your anti-south attitude is as much as an anachronism as is the confederate redneck who refuses to go north of the Mason-Dixon line. You need to let go of your prejudices and misconceptions about us, ok? We are proud southerners and Americans too, don't forget that.
