The news here (Chicago 101.9 radio) was reporting the Bo was a dog that was not a good fit for another family. Not sure of the accuracy and it's been a long hard day for me to do my whole 'queen of google' routine.

They got what they decided is the best dog for them.

Yes, a rescue (if it isn't sort of one already) would have been "ideal," but that isn't always the best for the animal or family. They did give an animal a loving caring home with what is probably a pretty pampered existence. Though I see Michelle teaching responsibility and other life lessons to the girls by making them do dog chores.

I love these things!

My husband (friend at the time) got me the mono plush because I was so sick with mono. Although, the plush version is cute the real thing is awful. I don't think I really ever got compltely over it to be honest. He also got me the flesh eating bacteria for some reason.

He got the flu plush so he can go around touching people with it giving them a "touch of the flu."

We're both computer techs (geeks) joke giving people viruses in plush form for fun.

Low flow shower = shower twice as long to wash soap off self because of crappy water pressure.

Low flow toilet (bad ones) = flushing twice occasionally (also because of crappy water.) ;)

First thing I do when I get a new shower head is remove the removable flow restrict piece of plastic and throw it away. That's right I'm a horrible, evil, no good, very bad bad person.

I wonder how much water you waste if you eat delicious delicious bacon with your environmentally damaging eggs.

Although, anything that advocates the drinking of beer I wholeheartedly agree with.

I agree that there are out of control kids I've seen my share. IE running amok and no one caring. I also agree that there are times when "good" kids behave badly. IE the poor child having a tantrum because she was still awake at 11pm at a bowling alley because her mom and dad wanted to have fun.

I like to sit in the bar area in mixed clientele restaurants so I don't have to deal with kids.

I want one! I have a Underwood Portable from the 20's but the carriage return needs some work. This thing is awesome. The fact that this one is only eleven pounds is also awesome. My "portable" weighs a ton.

I'm trying to crunch the numbers but math was never my strong subject (dyscalculia, I get the process just f up everything trying to work it out.)

So, (feel free to correct) IF

$700/30 (month) would be $23.33 a day which is $11.67 per person per day

$72/7(days) is $10.29 a day which would be $5.15 a day per person
$10.29 x 30 (month) would be $308.70 per month on the new budget

Seriously though, $700 a month, boo freakin hoo! Go buy some cabbage it's on sale this week for 24 CENTS a pound at my grocery. I made a week's worth of borscht for two for under $15 (probably cheaper I can't remember exactly) BEFORE the sale.

Nick: I'm certainly human. I just love my two little piggies and I take care of them so I'm their "mom." :) Nothing freakish or weird about that. Plenty of people refer to themselves as "pet parents." Although, if you prefer I can be a guinea pig "care-giver." ;)

Have to tend to agree with the left thing. The little thing does seems to sniff out and then go organic most of the time so maybe the organic veggies have a better smell. Being a guinea pig mommy I can attest to the strong abilities of the noses of small rodents.

I'll have to try this out with my two pigs next time their out for "floor time" and see what happens. Although, they do seem to like the organic lettuces better then the regular ones. It'll be interesting to test out carrots, bananas etc.

I had a friend who owned a manual trans car and would leave it it first and be fine except once it did not go so well. He parked, got out and the car was on just a slight enough incline that it rolled away across the street....into the lot of a car dealership. Then his car, sans driver, hit another car on the lot. The police got a good chuckle out of trying to fill out an accident report involving two cars and no drivers.

As a scooter rider this thing is just freakin' awesome. Functional yes but useable.....well...the exhaust pipe might burn the poor thing to the ground. Although, I can't tell the placement in this picture. I know it varies from Vespa models. Now, to go find someone who'll do this to my Metropolitan.

Regardless of his style he's cool and if anyone is interested Klein mugs, jars, etc can be purchased online kleinbottle . com without the spaces. I found these a couple years ago and it's cool to see the person behind some of them.
