Of course the kitten will be adopted. It made the news. No one gave a toss about it before it got it's head stuck in the soup can. It makes the news and people want to adopt the animal.

@ Dirk - I think what most people are disagreeing over is the image on the right is not the same exact spot as the one on the left. So it appears that they have completed the damaged road.

I think the after image is taken further up the road. if up you use the power line pole as Schrobblehead pointed out.

Saw this the other day. I had wondered about their condition.

My neighbors dog rides the back of their atv. I am kind of jealous though, because my dog is afraid to ride in a simple red flyer wagon.

As long as you are not holding up the line when I travel - then go ahead and claim your your fifteen minutes of fame.
If you are holding up the line - then you need to have your ticket cashed in and subsequently delivered to the nearest bus terminal.

IMO -trees that have been and weathered that long usually have a beauty of their own.
We have on tree on our proprty that shines like silver.
