So, if teacher's aren't allowed to hit the kids any more or embarrass them into proper behavior, then just how are they supposed to discipline them? When I was in school, if you got caught chewing gum, the teacher didn't make you throw it away, you had to wear it on your nose for the rest of class. Only took one time of that for all gum chewing in class to stop.
Sounds fine to me. And it obviously got the point across. Solution: take the tupperware out of the dishwasher and actually wash it by hand if need be... ie, don't be so lazy.
At 6 I would've most likely cried in a similar manner. Six year olds cry for a lot of reasons. Guaranteed though that I would remember that plastic doesn't decompose and is bad for the environment.
This concept is amazing. There is a hell of a lot of ridiculous, over-the-top, tacky stuff going on in Dubai, however a building using this 'salt-growing' skin would be fascinating.
So it's not just me. He repeats everything he says like that, must be sort sort of mental disorder. What I hate about this troglodyte is that he doesn't respect the animals or the environments he torments them in. NOT 'science' like he says as far as I'm concerned. Just an ahole with the personality of a 4 yr old.
Also happens in Yunnan province in China. I think it's the Bai people, but I could be wrong. They're allowed three days each year to get together with a former partner.
At least it's allowed by tradition... younger people don't usually participate in this anymore.
The reason behind it is that parents often selected who they would marry, which in a lot of cases wasn't the person who they wished to marry. So this gives them the chance to hook up with who they wished to. Now the choice of who to marry is primarily up to the children... hence it's not often practiced by the younger generations.
Totally agree with this. Every place should have this rule/ban. It's the too-lazy-to-get-dressed thing that drives me nuts. Put some pants on! It's not difficult. Pants are comfortable too, so I don't want to even hear the argument about PJs being comfortable. PJs outside the home just comes across to me as a degradation to acceptable social behaviour. There's being indifferent to what others attitudes toward yourself are and then there's being too lazy to put some proper clothes on.
And I have no idea why I feel so strongly about this. But I do. It drives me loco!

IL LEE has been developing ballpoint pen works on paper and works on canvas for over 30 years. They are monumental and awesome.
