The funny thing is, you can find about all of these buildings (or at least similar) on the University of Akron's campus. I would assume most "modern" campuses have the same.

Pretty sure Banksy's "artwork" is more of a stand against politics then anything else. I don't think he is trying to be nor wanted to be a "Van Dyck or Rubens". His "artwork" isn't art in a traditional sense...
That said, I'm not sure I like the last statement of the article, as if we are all trying to compare him to artists of the traditional schools of art theory. Banksy is anything but. I would compare him more to V from "V for Vendetta".
