One other bit of trivia, a friend of mine, Will, "The Thrill" Viharo had a pretty successful protest against Ocean's Eleven:

I've got a slightly different problem: the increased content has rendered neatorama inert for me. I literally watch my connection get bogged down the second I open the front page of neatorama. It's gotten so bad that I avoid neatorama.
now, I'm sure there are fixes for this: but incoming traffic won't care about fixes, incoming traffic cares about whether the site works or not. I tried showing Funny or Die to my parents but the amount of adware scared them off. Now, it won't matter if the content is great or terrible, they won't go back. I'm afraid that if the Queuebot remains as is, it will kill Neatorama entirely for any new traffic.

While I certainly cannot claim to have figured anything valuable out, by sheer happenstance, I discovered that if you end up doing the splits with the left leg fully extended in front of you, there's enough stability to complete the race using only the "Q". You look awful, and it takes forever, but it can be done.

Wow. Y'all have some messed up attitudes....Not that I don't, I'm just sayin'.
On the one hand, if the kid is "just" fat, his parents are horrifying monsters, eh? But, if the kid is sick, then comments about him, or laughing at him atempting to be funny are wrong, eh?
I might be messed up, but I'm glad I'm not y'all.
(Going to make fun of my dialect, now? I thought you might)

The actual legislation refers to it as a "TARP"- Troubled Asset Rescue Plan. So, without pledging to either fraternity, I'll go with that.
However, you can call it whatever you want. The bottom line is that, as is, it's bad legislation. Take a look at the Swedish model for better legislation. I think the main problem with the current TARP (or is that TRAP) is that it fails to address the "moral hazard" issue: it still "seems wrong". The Swedes went after stockholders, and took ownership of some of the banks, and, therefore, seemed "right" to the "just folks" brigade.

I don't know. I've not done any scientific study, but I work in an industry that requires me to interact with large numbers of people from multiple states on a frequent basis, and I don't see any of these findings in my interactions. Actually, I find quite the opposite. Now, this is all quite anecdotal, but I'm willing to bet that my sample size rivals that of this study.

Whoever mentioned Shatter Dead should be seconded.
I don't know if it's good or bad, but it certainly was one of the hardest to stomache I've ever seen. You've got everything from zombie fetus shot out of a pregnant zombie, to a sex scene with a gun done in too-graphic detail, to the usual parade of pink-red to mottled purple grey-skinned burn victim zombies. Couple this with some of the most deadpan acting I've ever seen (most of the leads were apparantly up well past their bedtimes)and strange paranoid schizophrenic pseudo philosophy, and you've got a movie that is too strange for even cult status.
