Skallagrim on youtube had a good video where he demonstrates some issues with women and armor but I'm having trouble finding it now. Basically he points out that a well-endowed woman wearing rigid breastplates can potentially have issues with range of motion for certain two-handed sword techniques. His girlfriend, who fits in that category, even demonstrates them and says that she prefers single-handed blades for that reason.
If this is what wikimedia does with their money, I'm glad I don't donate to them.
Animals are not people under the law. They cannot own property. You cannot leave your house to your dog in your will. Therefore the only person with a claim to ownership is David Slater. He is also likely the one responsible for the equipment used to take the images and the initial distribution of these images.
Ughh, that first one is a truly horrible idea. AC compressors require good airflow both from the sides and in the headspace above them. The first one restricts airflow from the sides and there is likely only a foot or so above. You want at least twice that and probably more for modern high efficiency units. Basically they're hiding and eyesore and paying for it with higher utility bills or a shorter life for their AC unit.
7. Tim Curry was originally slated to be voice the Joker. But the producers decided that he wasn’t the right fit and so held new auditions. Mark Hamill of Star Wars fame got the job of voicing the Joker.
The decision was actually made by the network after Tim Curry had already voiced several episodes. Curry also voiced Captain Hook on the network's Peter Pan show. The network execs thought the two villians sounded too similar especially for shows that were running back-to-back.
Mark Hamill had already done a guest shot on Batman as Ferris Boyle, the evil industrialist in Heart of Ice. Hamill tried out for the Joker part and got it largely because of the Joker's laugh (which he'd actually created while performing Mozart in Amadeus on Broadway). He had to go back and ADR Curry's episodes. Hamill talks about this on Rob Paulson's Talking Toons Podcast.
The first time we took my son to the toddler's nursery at church, he started to cry as we walked out the door. He was 18 months and just starting to get separation anxiety. This adorable little girl who couldn't have been more than two walked up to him and said "Don't cry" and gave him a big hug.
There is a Powergirl comic with an alien monster that is like this. The first time she fights it, it's fairly smart and tricky. Every time she beats it, usually by ripping or punching bits off, the bits regrow to another full monster. But it has shared monster intelligence which gets spread thinner and thinner. Each monster is stupider and stupider. Once she realizes this she breaks them all apart into thousands of pieces and turns them into really ugly livestock.
Alabama does not make more money than the entire NHL. They make more money than any single team in the NHL. Most NHL teams seem to have revenues in the $90-100 million range.
