Some of those early pictures of fossils, How do they figure out head and tail? That one with the lone trunklike face of the shrimp family looks completely backwards. How do they determine skin types, fur, 3D facial features? I'm not disbelieving the science, But sometimes I think alot of fantastic assumptions are shared as fact when they may not be.
It's more obvious in primate studies where a hip and thigh can tell you how they looked,what they ate and their complete family dynamics.LOL
So,seriously, how can they see what's up and down?:)
