The 2005 remake is really entertaining, especially the carnivorous insects scene. VERY creepy.

Maybe not. Perhaps if they had autographed it then I would agree but I don't believe they did.
Besides...the Honeybees were much better...and sexier too

The Montreal gig was worse than the Manilla (Phillipines) trip? I wouldn't have thought so.

My favorite Carson interview question was when after naming Jay Leno as his replacement, he had David Letterman on one last time and opened the interview by asking him "So just how pissed off are you?". I really do miss the REAL Tonight Show.

Let's not forget that when Cynthia returned home from her trip, she found Yoko at her house in one of Cynthia's robes.
John Lennon will always be my favorite Beatle and artist however his personality was not one to admire. I'm not the only one who feels that way...Julian wrote the forward for his mother's book "John" and made it clear that his mother was the one person he idolized most, not his famous dad. Julian spoke very badly about his father reminiscing about how little time John spent with his family as compared to Yoko and Sean. It wasn't pretty...and truly eye opening.

In my opinion divorcing John was the best thing for her and Julian. Her 2nd husband, Roberto Bassanini, whom she married in 1970 absolutely adored her and Julian. He was 10 times the father to Julian than John was. Bassanini continued to stay close to Julian even after he and Cynthia divorced in 1973. I suspected her love for John prevented her from falling in love again.
Julian loved his stepfather so much that he dedicated his CD "Photograph Smile" to Bassanini after he passed away in 1995.

I've read two of Cynthia's books, "A Twist of Lennon" and "John", and the prominent overwhelming theme in both is her undying love for John, even several years after their divorce. She was so deeply still in love with him that right up until John's death in 1980, she always felt that she and John would reunite and be together again, forgiving him for everything he put her through.
Now THAT'S love!!

Speaking on behalf of the Buffalo Bills, NY Jets and Miami Dolphins, I would just like to say to Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback in history....

When I was a I'd I used to think the opening of the show with Adams walking down a large corridor with huge doors opening up automatically as he approached them, was the coolest thing ever! The theme song was awesome too.

Famed actor and director Rob Reiner, Carl Reiner's son, often mentions on talk shows how as a teenager he would often "hit" on Mary Tyler Moore and that she had to keep fending him off. Who could blame him?

Thanks for the Michael Jackson Pepsi ad video Eddie. I remember thinking how talented that kid was...a young Alphonso Ribeiro who would go on to co-star in The Fresh Prince of Belaire as well as winning Dancing with the Stars. He now is the current host of America's Funniest Videos. Talented guy.

Back in October 1980, I was living in Tampa and went to the Holiday Inn to try and meet Bart Starr who was coaching the Packers then. The Packers were in town to play the Bucs on Monday night. While I waited in the lobby, I met an older man who sat down next to me and we started talking football. He was a GB fan and noticed I was wearing a GB hat. After about 20 minutes or so of telling him what a huge fan I was of Bart and he was the reason I was there, he introduced himself..."I'm Ben Starr. I'm Bart's dad.". Needless to say, my jaw dropped. We continued our talk which included stories from the Packers glory years and coach Vince Lombardi. It was the coolest thing ever!
When the Packers team bus arrived at the hotel, Ben Starr personally introduced me to his famous son. His arms were full so he was unable to sign an autograph but Bart (after being told by his dad that I waited several hours just to meet him) invited me up to his room along with his wife and dad. I remember thinking how cool this was while I was in the elevator with the first ever Super Bowl MVP and the QB who won the Ice Bowl against Dallas.
A few days later, I sent a personal thank you letter to Bart. He sent me back a personally signed 8x10 picture that I still have hanging to this day. He'll always be one of my greatest memories. A very awesome day indeed.

The 1976 movie didn't follow the same story. Mission to Skull Island was to find oil, it was set in present day and the pretty blonde was named Dwan, not Ann and was a bit of a flake.
