All John & Yoko wanted to do was try and make peace something that everyone should think about, especially at Christmas. Their message was simple....stop all the unnecessary dying on both sides and make the peace. How many families woke up Christmas morning and thought about their son or daughter either fighting in Nam or had lost their life there and for what? For what? Their message was true...it can be over...if you want it. Just a decision of what is more important and to me, my child's life outweighs it a billion billion to one. Thanks for the inside story Eddie. I sure do miss John.

Seriously....who doesn't love A Charlie Brown Christmas?? My favorite scene is the one with the kids dancing on stage while Charlie is trying to direct the play. The kid in the orange shirt who moves his head from side to side....every kid in my elementary school class used to imitate that kid. Nice topic Eddie.....and Merry Hanukkah!!!

Sorry but anything to do with the Beatles, and that means Paul McCartney, is the greatest music of all time. I love The Chipmunks and remember as a kid singing their Christmas song. By the way Eddie....if you weren't aware, The Chipmunks released a record of all Beatles songs. I used to have it as a kid. I've seen the CD of it on eBay before too.

Interesting history about a common phrase used often. I never believed it meant to actually break a leg but to concentrate enough on what you're doing so NOT to break a leg.

One of the greatest songs ever written. To me, it was song that showed the REAL John Lennon, or at least the one influenced by Yoko. Too bad not that many people really listened to what he was trying to say. I live about 20 minutes from where Mark David Chapman is being held and this time of year always makes me depressed. Seems like yesterday (no pun intended). Hard to believe it's been 32 years now.

Very good and informative tribute about, in my opinion, the underrated Stooge. Curly may have been the most popular but I always thought Larry was the funniest. My favorite part of the Stooges films was when Moe would pull large handfuls of Larry's hair out. Still laugh like hell when I watch it. Great piece Eddie!! And great picture of Larry with the shorter, combed over look. That was a first for me.

He was absolutely great as J.R. but to us baby boomers, he has to be better known for I Dream of Jeannie. I can still recall watching that show as a teenager and shaking my head in disbelief every time Jeannie would make a pass at him and he'd turn her down. So here was a guy in his late 20's (?), who has the most beautiful woman in the world at his beck and call whenever he wants her and he'd rather go play golf. Yeah....ok....now I could understand that coming from Robert Reed (Mike Brady) or Dick York (Bewitched) who were both gay but not Major Anthony Nelson! Nice piece Eddie.

Great "Behind The Scenes" article. I have been looking forward to seeing the film and now even more. Leave it to Spielberg to make it as real as possible with the watch and calling everyone by their character's names. Thanks.

I, for one, always enjoyed Duck Soup. I watched it on a Saturday afternoon with my dad once when I was a kid and laughed and laughed and laughed. Normally it was a Laurel & Hardy movie or Abbott & Costello but The Marx Brothers were special.

Nice piece Eddie.

Great piece Eddie. Never been much of a Springsteen fan myself but this story was great. Leave it to The Boss to play such a part with the "REAL" Boss, the Prez. election.

You know....next to having my picture taken with all four Beatles, perhaps my second choice would be having one taken with Wyatt Earp AND John Wayne. Can you imagine being in the same room those two REAL men? Oh my God!!! Cool piece Eddie. I love these!!
