Well, I don't blame them for turning the ship back. The Emerald Ash borer beetle, which is causing so much tragedy in the USA, came from wooden pallets carrying cargo from China. I wish we could have turned that ship back too.
Out where I live, when my dog attacks a baby deer, the mother just runs away. (but my dog isn't a middle class suburban pansy.) The way I see it is it's just one less 200 pound vermin running out in front of my car.
I've seen as many as 3 dead deer on the road in less than half a mile. It's not like there aren't plenty more where they came from.
I also forgot to mention that I lived in Gasworks Park in Seattle for a while too. (back in the 80s) That also saved me a lot of money. Seattle was a nice town for low budget living back then. Gasworks was full of people living in cars, vans, and buses. Every now and then the cops would put a sticker on your home and make you move it to a different spot. I guess that was just to prove that it would still move. I met people who were working in Seattle, living in the park, (it had 24 hour restrooms) and saving all their money for buying land. Sometimes whole families living in a bus and doing a home school thing; it was a cool park.
I squatted for 7 months once. I didn't have a sink in the bathroom or kitchen, but did have a toilet and bathtub and electricity; it saved me a lot of money.
I've heard of universal suffrage, but letting bird eggs vote is going too far.

I doubt it; if you live in North America that might be true, but only about 6 % of the world lives here. (Not counting Mexico)
