B.M.'s Comments

I spent 4 days in western Canada last fall. I never had to get out of my car when I entered. I never saw one cop the whole 4 days. Canada has 1 cop for about every 8500 people. They also have a lot less crime than we do. When I came home the border cops were the biggest belligerent assholes I ever met. We have 1 cop for about every 360 people. I'm glad people are starting to "film" these assholes everywhere now. Maybe soon we will have a police force that's not a bunch of mindless turds.

Why do they only hire people with less than average I.Q.s to be cops? So they will do what ever they're told and think they're special. It's one of the only jobs a stupid person can get, and feel like people owe them some uber respect.

"The world is populated with morons. Maybe we should just let natural selection take its course…"

You mean encourage smart people to have kids, and stupid ones not to have kids? That's downright un-American.

Who owns the building? If the city wants it, let them buy it. Why should my neighbors have a say what I do with something that is mine.

I hope they like their new sex shop. It's pretty historic. The sex trade is as old as anything.

My wife rode shotgun all the time while nursing. What else could she do. the kids were fussy. I agree driving the car while doing it was going a bit far, but not as bad as the things I see people doing all the time.

We all like to pick on one person for doing something we can point the finger at, and call them "Wrong". It makes us feel better about ourselves.

I could try to make others feel just as inadequate by pointing out the fact that they drove their kids into a fast food joint, or parked their kids in front of a T.V., sent their kids to a public school, cultish church, or bottle fed them. But I won't. (not)

Okay, I will.

Living in this country is like living in a very large dysfunctional family, where almost everyone hates everyone else and is just looking for some reason to blame them for something, while at the same time not wanting to get any blame for anything themselves.

Quit looking for the speck in other's eyes, while you have a pole in yours. That's a paraphrased quote from Jesus, who as we all know, had a mother who would have never thought of driving while nursing, taking her kid to a fast food joint, parking him in front of a T.V., sending him to a public school, or bottle feeding.

"There are more acres of forest in North America today than there were before the white man arrived 500 years ago."

Goober, everyone is untitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts.

"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country"

What a bunch of nonsense.

You would never hear a Libertarian spew such trash.

Ask your country to justify itself every minute of every day. Ask any government to justify itself every day. I ask any government "what can you do for me, or anyone else" If you can't do anything us, then who are you doing it for? Why are you here? (I already know who you are doing it to)

"I just need one story like this per, say, month to keep me afloat amid the sea of disillusionment the world serves up on a daily basis."

per, say, month... Keep you afloat? what the hell are you talking about?

Reading bulls**t stories like this won't help you when the s**t hits the fan.

Cynical people are just people who have good perception. That is, people who pay attention. So, you shut up! You fail!

Just kidding, really, Jesus loves you and everything's going to be all right.

"Governments, courts and judges take a huge risk when they commit these kinds of abuses against families. Eventually, they’ll do it to the wrong person(s); and some lessons will be learned."

That's why you can't own a gun in the U.K. Big Brother doesn't want you to fight back.

Why are there barbed wire electric fences, armed guards, and surveillance cameras around graveyards? Because people are dieing to get in there.

"It’s crazy that a phrase like “not worth his salt” dates all the way back to the Roman times."

You do understand that a significant part of our English vocabulary comes from Latin, right?

That dog was too laid back. I hope he would be a little more threatening if his master was the one being attacked by the goose. (or anything else) The man in the boat was pretty cool too, I mean he had the thing by the neck several times.
