At the end of this episode Radar might as well have said, "M*A*S*H's plane was shot down over the sea of Japan. It spun in. There were no survivors." The series died with McLean Stevenson and Wayne Rogers' simultaneous departures as far as I'm concerned.
Many people prior to the Civil War believed slavery was a dying institution; Abraham Lincoln, being one of them. That's one of the main reasons he was so keenly intent on preserving the union instead of fighting for abolitionism. There are many Lincoln letters that give his detailed view of how and when he thought slavery would end. "Lincoln: Speeches and Writing" is just one.
Except the puzzle states the two were having an animated discussion over what to buy their mother for her forthcoming birthday...and it's a brother and sister.
Never a big fan of the song. And I completely disagree with Eddie about George Harrison's signature song. I would argue it's "Something", the favorite Beatle song of Frank Sinatra (who considered it the greatest love song written in the 20th century). He also incorrectly credited it to Lennon-McCartney.
Barry Bonds and Roger Clemons never failed a drug test either. Professional cyclists Maarten Ducrot, Steven Rooks, Peter Winnen, Francesco Moser, Claudio Chiappucci, Bo Hamburger, Rolf Aldag, Christian Henn, Bjarne Riis, and on and on... have all admitted to doping but were never caught. The rampant drug use in cycling is legendary. So if they all do it, why even test? Professional cyclists Vicente López Carril of Spain, dead at 37;Marc Demeyer, dead at 31; Geert Van de Walle, dead at 22; Johannes Draaijer, dead at 27; Joachim Halupczok, dead at 26; and unfortunately, this list could also go on and on too. 18 cyclists' deaths between 1987-1991 alone were attributed to doping.
If you asked me in my opinion if Lance Armstrong doped, I wouldn't hesitate in responding, "Yes."
I'm telling my kids #5 – “I’m good friends with 25 letters of the alphabet … I don’t know why.” I found #3 (remided me of Emo Philips, except he was the butt of his own jokes instead of a sister), #4, #5, #9, and #10 funny.
