I liked the "left-turn signal" practice that I noticed when in Spain. Drivers in the left lane that are passing a car will use their left-turn signal if a car comes up behind them. Just a way of saying, "I see you and will move over to the right lane as soon as I pass this car." Number one, it acknowledges the other driver; number two, and maybe even more importantly, it shows they know not to park in the passing lane!!!
"Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night" is in reference to street racing as is "ride through the mansions of glory in suicide machines". What's weird about those? Sound pretty poetic to me.
With Toronto being just a little under five hours from Cleveland, this guy clearly read (and copied) the obituary of Scott E. Entsminger, a Cleveland Browns fan. His obit said the exact same thing back in July of 2013. From ESPN:
"A lifelong Cleveland Browns fan has gone to his final rest, but not before making one last request from the team. Scott E. Entsminger, 55, of Mansfield, Ohio, died on July 4. Entsminger, a Columbus native, was a musician and a Browns season-ticket holder who wrote a song for the team each year and sent it in, along with his advice on how to run the team. According to his obituary in the Columbus Dispatch, Entsminger also 'respectfully requests six Cleveland Browns pall bearers so the Browns can let him down one last time.' The family also has requested that 'everyone' wear their Browns clothing to Entsminger's funeral Tuesday. Browns public relations director Zak Gilbert told ESPN.com that as soon as the Browns learned of Entsminger's death they contacted his widow, Pat, to express their condolences. 'She told us that Scott's favorite player was Lou Groza, so we had a 76 jersey customized with Scott's last name,' Gilbert said. A representative from the Browns' front office will personally deliver it to Pat Entsminger at her husband's memorial service Tuesday afternoon."
"She Works Hard for the Money" wasn't on the "Bad Girls" album. It was released four years later off of the album...wait for it..."She Works Hard for the Money".
Well it IS in North Bend, OH. I, for one, applaud them for a touching homage to their hometown by bending, what I have to assume is the north end zone!
