Just to point out though, Pat Morita was playing about a decade older than he was. And Ralph Maccio was playing 5 years younger than he was. So Daniel-san won't have reached Mr. Miyagi's age until 2028!

If you're feeling left out because the Russian meteor didn't break your windows, you can alleviate the problem with this!

Coincidentally, next Tuesday, February 19th, the Hard Case Crime paperback series has a new mystery coming out by Max Allan Collins (ROAD TO PERDITION), and the book is called SEDUCTION OF THE INNOCENT:
http://www.hardcasecrime.com/books_bios.cgi?title=Seduction%20of%20the%20Innocent
It's set in the environment of the comic book scandal caused by Dr. Frederick's book, which caused the demise of such EC comics titles as TALES FROM THE CRYPT.
Interesting bit, the book has "a dozen brand new illustrations in the classic EC style by comic book legend Terry Beatty!"

I was ready to be similarly snarky here, but it doesn't hold up: If you read the actual article, it's clearly not just a pantry: cinderblock walls, air filtration, gasoline, emergency lights, first aid kit, radio, clock, calendar.

This all made me wonder where Indiana Jones taught.
In RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, he's at (fictional) Marshall College in Bedford, Connecticut. Marcus Brody seems to be Dean there.
In LAST CRUSADE, he's at the (fictional) Barnett College in Fairfield, New York.
Marcus Brody's either there too, or just visiting.
By KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, he's back at Marshall, Marcus Brody is deceased, and they've got a statue of him on the campus.

"...and I'm known as the guy who gets spaceships and restores them."
I wanted to know just what this meant, so after a little googling,
from his webpages: Ship models from the STAR TREK shows he's acquired and restored: ships, space stations.
I particularly like the slice of the Enterprise-D taken by the Borg ("They're carving us up like a roast!") It's a lot bigger of a model than I would have expected. It's sort of Barbie's Starfleet Dreamhouse!
