awwww, that's sweet. i can't resist an 'animal helping another animal' story. especially if they're of different species. also, i didn't know geese were that smart.
i forgot to say thanks, Miss Cellania, for the pointing me to National Geographic's 'Your Shot'. after 2 pages - i'm hooked. there really is some great stuff in there. housework be darned - i'm gonna be in there lookin' at pictures all day.
very neat! i'm so impressed that he was able to 62(!)pictures of 4 wild animals. i can barely get my 3 dogs together long enough for just one good shot.
blanks can still hurt or even kill* you...not to mention startle the beejeezus out of you. either way, imo, that guy does indeed have nerves of steel.
*i'm not a gun expert - i just remember the actor, jon eric hexum, dying as the result of shooting himself in the head with a blank while playing around on the set of a tv show.
the one with both socks on seems to be putting question marks at the end of many of his 'sentences'. the little guy with one sock seems to be making only statements. based on his hand gestures, baby-1-sock appears to me to be denying and/or disagreeing with everything baby-2-socks asks/says. not to mention flat out laughing at him. very fun to watch and listen to.
that brought back great memories. i loved everything about those little book catalogs. selecting my books, waiting for them, getting them, reading them...and then doing it all over again.
@Dobalina good catch! i didn't see that until you pointed it out.
i knew this had a name so i had to look it up...it's 'Hartman's Law of Prescriptivist Retaliation' and it is sooo true. it says that, "any article or statement about correct grammar, punctuation, or spelling is bound to contain at least one eror [sic]".
i think it makes things fun...as long as i'm not involved.
@ alex, i think you should say BOTH...it's Neat-O-Sexy...lookie there, a whole new Neatorama spinoff!

i'd play, but i don't think i could top you. i'm hoping you win the prize for what she was really trying to convey.
"There is some Irish dog breeder out there who is certainly heartless for abandoning this little poor little springer spaniel pup"
so i believe our comments remained pretty much on topic and civil as well.
