Dickens sort of wrote about pornography. I know that in one of his books, he mentions shops that sell pictures of women lifting their skirts to the ankle, and all the young men crowded around wanting to buy them. Dostoevsky also talked about similar pictures. They're innocuous by today's standards, but that would have been considered pronography at the time.

i agree with most others here. what happened to him is unfortunate, but he should not be allowed to compete. i don't see how having prosthetics made of carbon fiber isn't a clear advantage over those without them.

i can't believe the five or so people on here *supporting* these people. are you serious? these kids are homeschooled. think about it. there are, let's say, 15 children of age to go to school. do any of these "i can't believe how mean you guys are" commenters actually think that this mother can teach school to fifteen kids ranging in grade level from kindergarten to 12th grade? do you actually think that this mother and father are raising these children?
NO! the burden rests on the older children! hell, the mother herself simperingly admits that each older child is "responsible" for another!! there is no justifying this behavior. in my opinion, she and her husband should be jailed for child neglect. if she had that many dogs or cats, they would have been seized, most likely.

i understand the concern about scammers, but it seems that anyone wanting to purchase the car rightfully should be able to sign some kind of waiver accepting that the car may have unknown problems. just seems like a sad waste to destroy all those cars when apparently, schools could be using them.

i wonder if it makes people feel good to come post on here about how all americans are ignorant and arrogant. what's more ignorant or arrogant? me the american, or you who assumes me to be so just because of where i am from? grow up.

no, it goes away completely and comes back pretty often. you could ask one of my bosses. He had a sizeable brain tumor back in the late 80's. After a lot of treatment, it disappeared, and he was given a clean bill of health. The tumor came back last year.

wait a second...DISNEY has a problem with this? DISNEY thinks she was manipulated?

is this the same channel that is allowing a pregnant sixteen-year-old to carry on with her tv sitcom for young girls?

yeah, that's what i thought.

the sad thing is, as others have said, the ideas are pretty darn good in and of themselves. teenagers will drink and have sex. why not provide them outlets to do what they're already going to do more safely?

i attended a prom party where the mother at the house took everyone's keys away until the next day. we all had a great time, and most importantly, no one got drunk and drove home.

i heard about this last year, and whoever reported it had a link to the noise. everyone in my office could hear it(and were annoyed by it), including women and men in their 40's and 50's. i had heard that store-owners were thinking about using them in stores to discourage teenaged shoppers. if i ever hear one, they'll be losing my business fast.

there's a book called "last dinner on the titanic" that is quite good if you're interested in preparing any of the dishes. it also includes partial menus and recipes from the second and third class menus. i think they also have a genuine waldorf pudding recipe.

their last dinner for first class was more extensive than this menu, as it included the a la carte menu as well as the menu shown above.

there are also tips on how to fold napkins authentically, dress the table, etc etc, for dinner parties.

I'm not sure I quite understand. It seems to me that whatever his illness is should be of more concern to the company than the drug prescribed to treat or lessen the illness' effects. In other words, knowing what kinds of illnesses that can be treated with medicinal marijuana, I find it hard to believe that his treatment of his illness caused more problems than the illness itself.
