@GeneAriani, you expect that even without pollution or overfishing, that creatures won't go extinct. It doesn't really matter if there wasn't pollution because many species of animals insects etc. go extinct more often than you'd think, without pollution or the like. So keep that in mind. The only constant is change. No one is really bragging about conservation, they are bringing awareness. At least people are trying to do something positive while something negative is happening, rather than dwelling and saying well if this didn't happen etc.
