This aquarium, and all other good aquariums (because there are bad ones, just like there are bad zoos) aid so much in education, conservation, and helping all those animals that otherwise might end up extinct. Most people don't understand the need to conserve the oceans and lakes and rivers and streams because they cannot appreciate the creatures that live there. These establishments give the average joe the chance to do that while studying the creatures to learn more about them and what our impact is doing to them.
