I remember the first time hand-washing some dishes with my father. We had a dishwasher, but were doing some hand-washing of the extras. My Dad said that you have to rinse the dishes in warm water (not cold) or else the dishes "would never dry". At that moment I thought I had learned something magical. I thought that there was a case where water never dried. I thought that this was a very serious and important procedure to learn. Somehow, that not doing the dishes right, that this would change the properties of water. Lol.
Dude, the whole thing is B.S. I really dislike the Improbable Research posts. Perhaps they could be labelled as such so one doesn't begin reading them thinking it may be something real. Some of them sound quite interesting, until they dash your hopes in b.s.
Omg, that was very disturbing. Always liked the idea of Krampus, but did not know he dismembered children! All for going outside when told not to? Seems a little harsh. =)
I used to vacation in Coeur d'Alene as a kid. The nearby town of Hayden Lake was always totally vacant at night. I always thought it was because they were all burning crosses out in the forest somewhere.
I think the species should be re-created. A whole line of them. Then we could release them on a game preserve - but only allow hunting with stones and spears.
Kind of cool, but so were lava lamps. Is it me, or does this video not show the illumination funtion of the lamp? It looks to me like it is not casting any light at all.
No offence, Coeur d'Alene is quite lovely.
