I have heard this before. I think it is something like methane trapped under the ocean floor in the earth materials. Then there is a slide of materials on certain ocean floor cliff-like structures. The methane is several small bubbles, possibly forming into one large bubble. Zero buoyancy in aerated water causes ships to sink.

I like the idea of pirates. If I were a Narcopirate (whatever that is) I would totally target that area as a missing boat would raise less suspicion.

Also, have loved Neatorama long time. You must be getting popular if you get lame /b/ children commenting.

@GailPink

Totally queesy. For me it was the sound of the pieces moving. They kind of sounded like bone grinding together. Ugh, gross. And this is an Ad for a food product too.

Have to say I bought my first pair of Raybans last year. Up until then I would go with "gas station" glasses. As long as they had UV protection, and were under 20$ (Canadian), I was pleased. My big concern was loss of the glasses. If they were cheap, a loss was no big whoop. The Raybans just made my eyes sigh. Such clarity of vision and my eyes felt great after a day in the sun. Makes me wonder what I did to my eyes with the cheap shades. Some say that cheap shades are worse than no shades as they prevent squinting, but open your eyes to UV damage. IDK. Very surprised that all shades come from one place, which smacks of a scam on some levels. I dig my 'bans, and probably take more concern over losing them as they were pricier. "On your face, or in the case".

Though such awesomeness should really only cost $20. Why make such crappy shades?

fyi - i think it may be http://glassyeyes.blogspot.com/ as http://www.glasseyes.com/ took me to prosthesis. Though maybe better than some shades. Lol.

Pretty amazing video. I am glad that the dog is going to be ok - hard to watch that. As for the cat, I have watched it's attack over and again. It seems the deer steps its right hoof as it's first attack toward the cat's body, and lands where the cat just no longer is.

Pretty amazing. This guy, from his chair, reached 2 million people. I for one would watch him. Genuine, open and so very present.

Lol at crawling the marathon. Double Lolz at the John Mayer pic with him.

I like Christophe's statement about why we haven't seen any time tourists. I heard somewhere that perhaps time travel devices are like a telephone. You need two phones to make a call. The future has their phone, but we haven't invented ours yet. Two would be required to make a conduit, make a call, or send us a really intersting fax.

Yes, I think what Uh means is that there are only five houses in this article. Excellent article though - I have been to the Winchester house and it is well worth a visit.

Then we could monitor them during their technological adolescence. I am thinking we could show up in spaceships that can flee at high speeds when detected. We would be immensely evolved an look like aliens to them. Hay, wait a minute!
