The Kansas City Star started this strange tradition last year. The Star-Tribune stole, err, borrowed it and now they have a reciprocal agreement to publish the winning entries.

"Well, everyone knows Custer died at Little Bighorn. What this book presupposes is... maybe he didn't?"

Again? Really? This was posted ten days ago. I bet a post about the pooped out coffee shows up again too.

Nothing new about this at all, it's an international delicacy and pretty common knowledge among coffee fans.

I have to disagree with you. I think FOC is way better. I love Tenacious D, but they can be really crass and rely too much on the rock staples of sex, drugs and rock & roll. I love that FOC plays with different musical genres and subject matters.

Fascinating stuff. There was a really neat exhibit about Darwin at the Field Museum last year. I was pretty surprised that the man who pioneered evolutionary science didn't want his own family tree to branch out and married his cousin.
