@Mickey. Yes precisely, how apt a comparison. Good job on avoiding the hyperbole and just going straight for the jugular. Photoshopping a black folk into pictures in the name of diversity and equal rights is EXACTLY like the Jim Crow laws.
Option a) The absolute death of everything or Option b) This is one of the horde of beneficial/neutral bacteria that make up most of the bacteria out there and outnumber pathogens by a considerable margin. Keep in mind that within all of us right at this moment bacteria outnumber human cells 10 to 1. I for one welcome them to the party.
He'll be back. The cougar's just fetching his buddies so they can watch him flick an annoying yappie dog through a stop-sign by extending his nails. And who can blame him.
Starship Troopers is a comedy and was intended as such. The pulsating naughty orifices didn't give that away? Also, even if your humor might not run in that direction, at least admit that someone's might.
Boondock is overrated but entertaining as hell.
Death to Smoochy is definitely not bad, with some tweaking and re-casting we could have had a mini Network on our hands.
Fountain is a flawed movie but at least the dude aimed for the sky and there are moments of greatness in there. I understand if people don't have the patience to stick around for them.
Natural Born Killers is hammy but a child of its time and very good as such.
Pathfinder was unbelievably bad and so is everything else listed.
I don't see Pi day catching on elsewhere, since only in the U.S. (I think) do they write the month before the day MM-DD-YYYY (03.14.whatever) as opposed to DD-MM-YYYY elsewhere (including other English speaking countries). And the universal standard is YYYY-MM-DD, meaning this has zero universal appeal.
Oh, and Hobbit day was already being celebrated - it's called Gay Pride. So put some tassels on those furry feat and march out there, mister, cuz it's coming up!
Maybe "The Cement Garden" would have been better: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cement_Garden
"In The Cement Garden, the father of four children dies. His death is followed by the death of the children's mother. In order to avoid being taken into care, the children hide their mother's death from the outside world by encasing her corpse in cement in their basement. Two of the siblings, a teenage boy and girl, enter into an incestuous relationship, while the younger son starts to experiment with transvestism."
You just can't win with this thing. Whichever way you go it conjures up images of drugs, incest and mayhem.
I was just about to point that out. TinEye still doesn't work as well as I'd hope but I applaud the effort and it's a great idea.
