Pâté is what you make with all the left over bits of food that you can't use for anything else; soups are another common alternative use for the crap that you can't do anything else with. The stuff that isn't even good enough for pâté gets turned into pet food. It shouldn't be that surprising if people can't tell the difference.
Dubai is cargo-cult culture. They want all the goodies that come from open Western culture but they don't understand that the goodies are an effect not a cause.
Cody, it does matter that he's black (or even half-black). From a bio of Nichelle Nichols:
Years later, Whoopi Goldberg told Nichols about excitedly watching Uhura, as a child, and telling her mother "Come quick! Come quick! There's a black lady on TV, and she ain't no maid!"
I'm with everyone else beating up on Woogie. I have a lot more respect for someone that hunts, kills, and butchers their own meat than someone that just picks it up at a store without having to get their hands dirty.
I question the ethics of anyone that eats something they can't kill and butcher themselves; this limits me to plants, fish, and other "primitive" life forms that I can't empathize with.
I stopped watching TV in 1990. I was in university and I didn't have time for it, I couldn't afford a TV or cable either. If anything comes out on TV that I want to see (Trailer Park Boys, Battlestar Galactica, ...), then I wait until it is out on DVD and watch the whole season at once.
I'd probably fall into the socially liberal but fiscally conservative stereotype. I don't watch because there's nothing worth watching (that can't wait for DVDs) and I find that I'm happier and calmer without the anxiety inducing advertising and "news".

I agree that it shouldn't matter but it does matter.
