"wayne's driving obsession began after 9/11. Before then, he drove "75 miles per hour in the left-hand lane," but in the wake of the attacks he vowed to minimize his personal consumption of Mideast oil. As he sees it, Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda received their operating funds from all the U.S. consumers who bought Saudi oil. That money paid for the construction work that made bin Laden's family rich. "If Osama bin Laden didn't have the money to burn," Wayne says, "he wouldn't have been able to do what he did. There was a direct relationship between our addiction to oil and the World Trade Center coming down."
Wow. He does this simply because he thinks it's the right thing to do. Look at the lengths he's gone to. He's a better person than I, by far.
Someone needs to loosen up a little bit and look on the bright side. They could turn the island into a mecca for lesbian women, a cash cow of tourist sites, offering couples massage in high class hotels, all girls dance nights, places to give singles a chance to meet. In stead, because of a little ribbing, he thinks he's going to change a word that's been in our lexicon for hundreds of years. Idiot.
My God. That's simply astounding. I'm always amazed at what people do with their spare time, the things that they create and then assume have no value to anyone but themselves. These are beautiful works of art. I'm so very glad that his son is allowing us to see them. Makes me wish that I could see what other garage artists are making, what kind of amazing talent there is out there.
Wow. They'd rather stick to the manual than keep going with a campaign that was proven to work, thus saving lives. I wonder if they keep the manual in a shrine, and worship it. I wonder if traffic fatalities are 'offerings' to the book.
Oddly, my city is not on here. Sure, we've only 250 people, and we are out numbered by cows, but when the wind blows the smell of the city lagoon into the yard, I'm sure we beat all these other cities in terms of pollution.

I had to say that one aloud about five times before I got it. I'm not feeling terribly bright today.
