There are plenty of gorgeous and well kept houses in Detroit, too. Detroit isn't some hell hole. There's a lot of beauty, great restaurants, fantastic people and a culture and city trying to dig itself out of a pit Coleman Young and white flight decided to plunge it into.

Just because some guy went into the worst neighborhoods of a city and took photos of abandoned houses doesn't mean it's indicative of everywhere in the city. It's not indicative of MY neighborhood. It's not indicative of my friend's neighborhoods, either.

I love Detroit. It has waaay too many problems to list them right now, but there are a lot of great things happening in this city. Why aren't you finding any of THOSE blog entries, flickr sets or youtube videos?

There's a news story about Job McCully. Poohaps you can do a follow-up to this to give some info about Job? His story is actually quite uplifting, but sad.

This kid is darling and I truly feel for his plight. Look at what all of you said about him. I don't even WATCH Extreme Makeover and I found this information.

I think the airbrushing is kind of tacky, but the sentiment behind it is very cute! Had they done something similar without using airbrushing, it may be less tacky. I'm glad they had fun and enjoyed their special day. I don't plan on having a conventional wedding either. I also don't plan for my wedding photos to be placed on a lame pithy forum by a racist twat.

Hmm. I didn't see in the article whether he was charged with murder or manslaughter or what...if he were charged with murder, I can definitely see the legal case as to why he may be acquitted. If they charged him with manslaughter, however, I'm not sure why they would acquit him.

I think this whole concept would seem a lot less tasteless without the face mask and the dvd. At least then it could just be chocked up to the morbid curiosity of what someone who knows they will die soon chooses to eat. The face mask and the dvd seem to mock the deceased. I tend to have a reverence for the dead as a lot of people do.

I never referred to Charles Ng who I know a lot about. I'm referring to 129 people who were wrongfully imprisoned and put on death row and then found to be innocent. Those people deserve to die? They were found innocent, as in they did NOT commit a terrible crime. So why are they "subhuman" to you? I never engaged in any ad hominem attacks, so don't sling any at me. They don't help your argument.

I'm not a liberal. I just happen to know the facts. Not everyone on death row or in prison is actually guilty. It's happened before. This is disrespectful. Stop being antagonistic and rude.
