Al Gore and the InterWeb. You guys should be able to take it as a joke by now.

That Gore claimed to have "invented the Internet" was a false story circulated by the Republican National Committee during the presidential campaign. It was eagerly picked up by the media and used time and again to mock Gore, along with many other false stories.

It's hard to know just how many votes he lost because of these stories. But I'm sure we all remember who ended up winning the election, and many of us don't find a lot of humor in what happened to the country as a result.

Seems to me a feline having a mixture of wild and domestic genes is unlikely to have a very happy life as a housecat; its wild and tame instincts would be constantly fighting each other for dominance, making for a kind of kitty schizophrenia.
