I'd love to see the slacker's alphabet.
A day not wasted is a wasted day.
Bacon goes well with anything.
Cats eat your food and money, don't get one.
Dogs do too.
Eating is a luxury, your WoW subscription isn't.
F this, 26 is too many damn letters.

I can only speak of my experiences with Korean culture. I have found that they descriminate based on where you studied as much if not more than what clothes you wear, car you drive, neighborhood you live in.

As I understand it, there is a huge push from parents for their children to succeed. There are even 'helicopter parents' who will intimidate university professors to get higher scores for their children.

The factors behind this? I can not say for certain, but I had thought that confucian ideals place enormous emphasis on education. Hence why educators are revered in Korean (perhaps all east asian?) culture.

Even in China there is a saying, "If a son is uneducated, his father is to blame."

I can not speak to anything in terms of the Latino culture as I lack any proper amount of experience.

What is the news here?
Didn't we already know of many amphibious dinosaurs?
So many animals can swim, is this really something to be excited about?

Abolish the exclamation point. It is the root of all evil.

Have these 'wonders' collections evolved beyond tourism ploys yet?

Honestly, I hold these things in the same light as the world's larget ball of twine.

Lastly, putting lists like these only send droves of people to the area where it becomes overused and ruins the very thing you were trying to highlight.

Save nature! Stay inside and play videogames. ^____^

Take a deep breath and relax. This is Discovery, not ILM.
The main point here is that if a meteor hits, we're boned.

The major lifesaver for us thus far has been the asteroid belt. One planet died or didn't form and we live. Kinda poetic isn't it?

Meh. This is such a gray area it is almost not worth talking about. You could have strong opinions on either side and be correct.
On one hand, why not be humanitarian and instantly give them food or money?
On the other hand, is it not humanitarian to guide them to the proper services which may help them rebuild their life?
I'm not saying that such concepts are mutually exclusive either. However, I can see how the second crowd would feel that the first crowd, um... I won't say discourages, but let's say doesn't guide the homeless toward the second crowd's option.
Given a story like this: http://www.neatorama.com/2008/02/22/testing-the-american-dream-the-homeless-experiment/

I am prone to say that perhaps we should encourage that behavior instead of simply satisfying an immediate desire. (But feed them while you're educating them about the experience.)
