Of course this guy was a hero. He had the courage to stand up do what needed to be done. The town, and the rest of us, will think twice before running ramshod over a person's rights like that.
You can whimper on about how people got hurt; but it was necessary. Until we all learn to treat each other with respect and decency, this type of thing will continue.
