Two dragons, you're assuming this child will grow up NOT mentally impaired. Look at the shape of the skull. The baby has severe Microcephaly.
Development of motor functions and speech may be severely delayed. Hyperactivity and mental retardation are common occurrences. The odds of this baby ever being a cohesive thinking being are not good.

I know its mean to say it, but this baby is not going to be any sort of Helen Keller.

Irrational bleeding hearts can do a lot of good in the world, sometimes they can just be irrational. The world is not full of happy endings. Not every situation can be fixed.
Try to help one deformed baby who caught media attention, or help 50 children, who aren't in the public eye? Sometimes issues aren't black and white. They're cold, depressing shades of grey.
IMO, if the mother is asking for public help, then she is taking money away from a LOT of other needy kids who WILL grow up to be cohesive thinking beings. Sadly, I really can't say I agree
with letting a severely deformed child have priority over a mass of other children who WONT get any help, because they don't have scary pictures to get attention with.

My brain must not be working right. I've seen this clip so many times and they don't look like human faces at all to me. They look like fishes, not creepy ones, not scary in anyway. Just fish. What am I missing? I don't get it. :(

We have a tredmill. Tried to get our dog to use it in the winter months when its below freezing and blizzardy outside. Poor pup would use it for a few seconds, then lie down... then slowly get dumped off the end. Rinse repeat. He just really hated it. We finally just got him doggie booties for his feet (which also was a pain) and insulated sweater.

Bonus comment: He loves to go sledding. :P

I've always been a firm believer that those who have money, should be able to spend it however they want.

Its sad though, when so little (money) can help out so much. To the extremely rich, $52,000 is pocket change. There are purses and blinged out cellphones that cost upwards of a million and these "elite rich" don't bat an eye at such lavish purchases.

And yet with such a little amount, so much can be done.

I thought it was interesting looking at the clothing (me being a fashion loving gal).

As we evolve into more sophisticated beings, mens clothes seem to be taking a nose dive. Think of ye-days of old. Men used to wear suits, and look dapper in hats, spats, vests, ties, etc.
In the 40's men had well pressed slacks or dress pants, a clean buttoned shirt, tie occasionally etc. All neatly ironed and starched. Hair was a little dorky, but it was well groomed, well combed, and well kept.

Fast foward a bit to present day. Any guy who really cares about how he looks, is most often gay. And I don't mean to be insulting when I say that, but for some reason... they care, while other guys just don't.
the only time any guy looks nice, is when he thinks he's going to get some "action" or has a funeral to attend.

its like technology is increasing, but mens clothing has de-evolved to the point of a few scraps of cloth covering (ie t-shirt,jeans underwear, socks, shoes).

Soon men will get to the point where they wear nothing but boxers and just shave their heads, because trying to brush/comb it is too much work. I think a few are already at this point.
