This made me think of the Brian Vaughn comic Ex Machina, where a radio overhears "The Stars are Falling," a song recorded by a parallel world Nirvana where Kurt Cobain didn't die. Makes me want to make my own mashup for that song.
I totally agree that use of common fictional brand names is taking it too far. It should be restricted to characters crossing from one show to another. Even then, it would be interesting to see if you could somehow get a situation where a character was connected to another character by some six degrees of separation linking, but had also watched that character in a show? That would be interesting. Someone needs to redo this list properly!
Wow I can do a lot of those things. All except the tongue trips. But I'm neither Gene Simmons nor a hot asian girl. Oh, and can't do Will Ferrell's yoga pose (Wonder what the yoga name is? "Happy Buddha"?). Er, I mean, I have no idea if I can do that...
Lifting the ring finger was possible, though it only lifts itself a bit.
And what would middle school bus rides have been without gleeking? I could hit someone halfway down the bus. I should see if there is a gleeking championship somewhere in the world.
Geez... opening a bunch of those city links at once can really kill your computer's performance. I'm going to start a politically themed town just to see if that somehow gets more visits. http://obama-town.myminicity.com
mass produced spider webbing is great, but its hardly useful without a wrist mounted web shooter. How am I supposed to swing from building to building with a pair of socks?
Pretty good! I tried to keep my requests reasonable and he knew most of them. He knows quite a lot of dances. Wasn't until "recite shakespeare" that he got stumped and just shook instead.
I have a friend who just got back from a year as a private tutor in China. The businessman she was teaching kept insisting on learning by this method. He thought the best way to learn was to shout everything as loud and fast as possible. Must have been quite the year for my friend...
A fight scene between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris is great, but you know what's even better? A fight scene between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris interspersed with random shots of a really cute kitten! lol now I have to rent Return of the Dragon just to figure out why the kitten is in the fight scene.
Woohoo Ice Miller made the list! They are the biggest firm here in Indianapolis, and sponsor lots of stuff in town. The school I attend has an Ice Miller Auditorium.
There's also a firm in town called The Nice Law Firm, and another called Guy Law Firm. I am absolutely astonished that they have not yet merged.
This version is definately better than Criss Angel, mainly because these guys do it in a fun, non-serious way. Makes it all the more impressive when they are not trying to make their tricks look "real" by shocking the audience.
My favorite or Latin palindromes. There's the very famous latin palindrom riddle: "In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni" Which translates as "We dance around at night and are consumed by fire." A riddle about moths.
Perhaps the coolest though is: "Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas" Which is kind of meaningless "The sower Arepo holds the working wheel." What's so cool about this one is that the palindrome also forms a word square: SATOR AREPO TENET OPERA ROTAS

Oh sorry, wrong picture.

SATOR
AREPO
TENET
OPERA
ROTAS
It is the same in each direction.
