While artist Joesph Griffith does take some "Liberties" with his depiction of the surrender at Yorktown, it is an historical fact that George Washington often rode his beloved Triceratops, affectionately known as "Ol' Prickly Points", into battle. It was said that the very sight of him, charging into fray, musket balls ricocheting off Prickly Points, was enough to break the British lines, and send them running, in terrified retreat.
