I would like to see your examples of what promises he has lived up to. I personally do not want him to live up to his promises about taxes, income redistribution (welfare) or health care. Personally I do want him to live up to his promises that he can heal all of the bad diplomacy between every country just by talking to them. I hope he really can make money magically appear to pay for his ridiculous health care plan. Ohh yeah he really should live up to his promise to to pay every fat lazy american (and alien) to sit on our fat lazy asses because we somehow have decided that we deserve it. Yeah, he should live up to his promises of more and better paying jobs for americans in a declining economy when he decides to ax the living hell out of the business owners and the global corporations. Yep if he can do all of that he really will live up to the glorious hero from fairy tales that you have convinced yourself that he is.
On another note, Amidala, you are correct, we will be selling ourselves and our future success to the slave drivers and whip-weileders of far wing politics. The difference between modern communism and facism is the lie that one group is free and the other are slaves. I sincerely hope that this is not the early death knell for the death of the greatest democratic republic in the history of mankind. It is my greatest fear that the nanny state will evolve into something far more sinister. At least there is still some semblance of an equal division of power in the house and the senate. We can forget about the Supreme Court and the rest of it.

Duh, that is what happens at high school. All of the talk about intolerance and how it it wrong is meaningless. We are talking about high school here. Intolerance is a hallmark of said institution. Any of you out there who have made it through that hormone soaked time know that there have always been and that there will always be bullies.
