Very cool idea. It would be great if it proved practical as anything that lets us get things into space cheaper is a good thing.

Of course, a space elevator would be even better, but failing that...

It costs $1 million to uninstall some screensavers? That's some crazy inflation they have in East Valley.

I can't help but wonder if there isn't something else going on here.

The amount of data we have about Mars now is unprecedented. This is just cool.

While, of course, this is crazy awesome, it would be even better if Lasermotive was seriously working on space elevator technology instead of just using this as a proof of concept for their wireless power transmission technology.

Cassini has been doing surprisingly well considering it has been on back up thrusters since March.

Might be time to try a more European solution.
