I have read and heard that when you reach a certain age you stop physically aging. I don't think there is a real difference between someone who is 102 and someone who is 130. (as far as outward appearances go)
They should make all the people who collect checks for being too obese to work meet regularly at a supervised gym so they can work that fat off. Not only will it save you money by forcing people to work that weight off, but the government saves money in health related costs that the tax payers will have to pay.
I mean, unless you are too fat to walk, I don't see a problem. Even if your diet isn't that great, the most important thing for weight loss is exercise. (and lipo-suction) :)
Sorry but I agree with the city on this. When you have a historical district it's really disgusting and tacky when one owner completely remodels the building. I could care less what they are selling, but the historical look of the neighborhood would instantly vanish if they didn't regulate this.
What I don't understand is how could he be so oblivious to the rule. I don't even live in Old Town and I knew this. And why would he have to completely renovate the place just to open a fishing and hunting shop. (Ignoring the fact that old town Alexandria has never struck me as a hub for fishers and hunters)
I mean, you wouldn't want someone moving in next door to you, tearing down the old house and rebuilding some monstrosity. That is why laws like this are in place. To preserve the feel of the neighborhood.

It cracked me up!
Entertaining to say the least! :)
"That's right thumbsucker, I see you!"
LOL! :)
Anyway, the whole thing was all very interesting. I recommend following the link and reading some more of the highlights.
And don't judge these guys too hard. It's called a brainstorming session. You throw out whatever comes to mind even if it is a crazy idea.

ok so having a 33% chance of being a host to a tape worm is not the least bit comforting, although maybe that's the reason I'm so slim! :)
I feel for whoever was named Justin Case. Whenever someone says that, or says "Just in time", I always turn my head thinking they are talking to me.
