X-Calibre, in the author's defense, his next paragraph refers to them as arachnids.
Also I don't know if there is anything else behind him saying insects because he is not referring to modern day scorpions but an ancestor of them. Maybe they were technically classified as insects. I'm not sure though, google wasn't very helpful on this.
I agree with the others who think there isn't very good science here. As one of the critics said, if you are going to use the evidence they described then you would therefore have to conclude that African Americans, and Hispanics are, as a race, genetically inferior when it comes to intelligence.
Is that what you think, because I find that idea ridiculous.
In other news, white people are genetically predisposed to be better at NASCAR Racing!
Why do some people need to bring up global warming every time there is a video with snow in it? LOOK SNOW, SEE YOU HIPPIE, TREE-HUGGING, NEO-FASCIST, COMMUNISTS ARE WRONG!
Anyway...
I just got the latest national geographic that had that baby mammoth on the cover, so I'll have to check it out. I wonder if one day they'll finally be able to clone one of these creatures.
I have to say. Out of all the child actors I've seen grown up, these guys all look the most normal. I'm actually taken aback! Come on, it's not Hollywood unless there are a few drugged up, botched-surgery, wanna-be stars.
I don't really see this as anything more than international, financial, sabre-rattling. The fact of the matter is when you look at this in the long term the dollar is one of the most stable currencies out there. Obviously right now there is a major dip, but the dollar will recover and all this talk about the end of America's economic lead will take a backburner for another 10 years.
As I understand it, once the word becomes synonymous with all similar items (Kleenex), it becomes public domain. Even if Apple starts suing the pants off every company trying to get a piece of the pie (or apple pie if you will :) ) if everyone started referring to all MP3 players as ipods then they would theoretically lose the brand name.
For the record I'm not particularly mad at Apple, I just wish people would stop treating it like some holier than thou company that is only out there to spread peace and love. (and music) Just like Microsoft, they are a big company so their lively hood is determined on whether they can make a buck.

I believe the next topic under discussion was about why Argentinians are so morally and socially corrupt!
COME NEATORAMA READERS, WE MUST STORM THE BASTILLE! :)

It is an illustrated list of different kinds of internet flamers. Hit the "begin" button on the right to go through the list.
They obviously didn't get the memo.
