But you gotta admit their brand took a serious trashing when Sarah Palin professed her love of Diet Dr Pepper. They have to do something blatantly stupid to get people to forget her endorsement and move on.

Sheesh. Here I was hoping that they might _raise_ bulk mail rates to something approaching first-class rates to drastically jump the per-piece profit _and_ reduce the amount of rubbish in our mailboxes. Wishful thinking, obviously.

I have always hated the word "biopic" -- not only is it pronounced wrong (it should be by-ahpick) it also means the wrong thing (it should be "has two eyes"). A lot of words are pronounced incorrectly, and a lot of words mean the wrong thing, but "biopic" manages both at once.

Also, I think I've had enough Johnny Depp for a while.

$22,000 per machine?? I've got a five-year-old ThinkPad laptop with a fingerprint scanner built in to it. It feels like they ought to have been $1000 per scanner at the absolutely top end. Hell, you could hire a dude to walk around and talk to kids for the price of two scanners per year...

Reminds me of Richard Hammond's caravan. Once assembled it has a dining room, library, study, foyer, etc., but collapses into a nice little truck for transport.
