This dumbass doesn't deserve a page for his 'act'. He jumped out at the group ahead of me this past weekend and two of the people in that group staggered back into me, another individual tripped up and almost went into the street. He thought it was funny. A few hours later he's in another spot and we happen to go by from the opposite direction, and he starts making all kinds of rude comments to people passing by. He's about on par with the rest of the loonies putting on a 'show' around SF, and another good reason why I don't care for visiting that place much.
Question.. what are they going to do with the money made with these taxes? These seems less like a "we care about our populace" and more like a "we figured out a creative way to charge you more money".
How about all the Gawker media blogs? The new design means you pretty much can't share a link with anyone (especially on facebook), as there's no garauntee the link will even work for them.
Maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing... at least then the internet wouldn't be as bad as the evening news when it comes to reporting on things going on around us.
I will be forwarding this article to my sister *right now*. She's been suffering a lot of stomach pains lately and the doctors have been struggling to figure out the source. The recently suggested that it may likely be celiac disease, and the fact that she, who's already a type 1 diabetic (like myself and our father), would have to suffer through a second major problem in her life really upset me.
The other thing not seen from the media in over fifty five years... respect.
Hats off to the editors at the time of that article's publishing for respecting the wishes of the Einstein family and keeping their reporting of the event to a minimum.
So when did neatorama and all the other 'interesting news blogs' decide to become the 'interesting news and ways to get high and waste your life blogs'?
I've always felt studying was a stupid waste of time. If you don't understand the topic the day before the test, what the hell good is attempting to cram information you don't completely fathom when you're stressed already. Make the effort to learn while you're in the classroom, and actually ask the teacher for help with the subject matter, it's what they're there for.
Now if only this concept could be applied to cigarettes, we wouldn't have smokers dumping their stubs out car windows on the freeway and on the curb while they're walking.

I've always wanted to read this book and now I have an easy way to do so on my netbook.
