The fabulous story of Sha Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal is often told, but one thing often left out is that Shah Jahan had three wives.
Mymtaz was onl one, perhaps his favourite, but he did have two other wives.
So it is not quite the love story we want in the monogamous west.
