The laughing on BBT isn't fake, most of it is the actual recordings from the live tapings, the (real) audience laughs so hard that the producers have to tone it down best they can in the editing room, but even with the editing it comes off as loud. I like it, it means that the actors can take pauses and let the viewers catch their breath when something is real funny, on shows that just go on without pausing for the laughter one can miss several lines afterwards.
