Why is this particularly ingenious? This type of fishing contraption is in use elsewhere than in India...right? Fishermen have always been pretty darn smart. Necessity has always been the mother of, as they say.

Would be nice if the USA would just tell the UN to go find offices in Europe and stop being responsible for so much of the cost of what they do, which is little. The UN is a joke now. And very anti-American and totally anti-Israel. Let them go off and be that on their own dime.

Does anyone remember their video before the big-toothed, pretentious one took over the group? It wasn't a great song, but, at least there was less of the pretentious one in the video. Totally put me off the group when all we saw was the one guy... Felt sorry for the other one. Maybe he was the lesser talented, I don't know. But, man, I wish they'd done something else in their videos but focus on toothy!

let's not get carried away. most doctors do a good job. but I do find one thing very irritating with doctors: they never seem to listen when I am explaining things. maybe they've heard it all before but they could at least not cut me off so often. I know they are busy. but it makes me feel a bit like an idiot.

You'll probably find that most famous people, past and present, had/have their faults. Hitchcock had a thing about blond ice queens but, afaik, he wasn't a serial philanderer, a drug addict, a pedophile, or a holier-than-thou idiot who preached to the people about using one piece of toilet paper per poo, so I think it's OK to remember him for his great film work, don't you? Even the blond ice queens he had a thing about come off great in his films, so...surely, they forgave him.

Oh, my. The UN just does not know what to do with all the money it has, it does something like this. This is not something the UN should be spending money on. If the government of these countries cannot be bothered to teach their citizens about hygiene, then why bother. There are certainly more important things to be doing than spending millions like this... Unbelievable. What a waste.

Considering what ACORN (I believe, could be wrong...) is doing in Ohio, I don't think people in Ohio should be paranoid about the machines. From what I understand, homeless people are being rounded up and taken into town to vote. The problem with this is that they can register and vote all in one go. And when/if their registrations are rescinded later on once they have been examined, their is no way to go back to remove the votes they cast because Ohio refuses to stop the all in one go voting or keep these particular votes separated so that they can be removed later on.

THAT is not cool. And certainly allows a lot more cheating than any of these stories you hear about the machines.

A lot of dems voted ''nay'', people. pelosi gave permission to several dems to actually vote against it and that screwball barney frank couldn't even get all the dems on his own committee to vote ''yes''.

pelosi showed her total lack of judgement with her stupid finger-pointing anti-Bush speech right beforehand. What a disgrace she is to the office.

And the dems, in general, by refusing to acknowledge that their very own political manoeuvers have played a huge role in this disaster...they are just pathetic.

Hate the characters he plays and the acid undertone to what he does. He laughs at people, not with people. can't bear to watch him. Send him back to the UK.

Thank goodness for a few comments that point out that, no, the muslims were not just sitting around behaving like saints until those da*n Xtians decided to get on their horses and fight back!

Why must certain people attempt to whitewash the history of the muslims while at the same time bashing wholeheartedly the West and Xtians?

It's silly. It's like trying to convince people that the only country that deserves to be constantly reminded about slavery is the USA! Why just lop off parts of history?

The people doing this work are employed by someone in their own country, not some outsider, if I'm not mistaken. I saw something about it on TV and the local companies trying to get this business are happy to have it as it allows them to hire people and put them to work, even if the work is hard.

All countries have had jobs like this at some point. Just because we look at it from the viewpoint of people who might no longer have to do that kind of thing doesn't mean that there aren't places where people are glad to get work, period.

Yes, the local bosses should be protecting their employees but that's up to them, isn't it.

What's wrong with pro-torture messages?

Almost every other show there is has pro-abortion messages, pro-divorce messages, pro-adultery messages, pro-teen sex messages, pro-multiple sex partner messages, pro-me me me me messages, pro-church hating messages, pro-atheist messages... The list goes on.

Are you offended by all those other messages too?
