Oh Big Bird, how I love you. I grew up watching you and you taught me how to count to ten in Spanish! :D

I know here in Canada we always had Big Bird on Sesame Park (the Canadian equivalent of Sesame Street), but we do have our share of Canadian exclusive Muppets.

In Mexico they have Alberto, who is green (and kind of parrot looking) and he's Big Bird's cousin.

I want one so badly! :D

Maybe it's because I have a soft spot for old silent films, but this version of that video makes me laugh much harder than the original. :D

I laughed at the idea of having an office kid. I'll have to remember that site if I ever get a new job. Luckily I work with a bunch of hermits and people too young/hip, and the majority of us do not have children.

My lordy that cake is adorable! I would have a hard time cutting into and subsequently eating it. I think I'm going to have to buy that shirt now, dag nabbit.

I would like to know who started the whole idea of watching Disney movies frame by frame to find all the disturbing/disgusting bits. A good chunk of what I've found on YouTube seems to be all in someone's head. As an animator, I'm insulted to think that the general population thinks we have nothing better to do with our time than to place disturbing messages in the movies their children watch.

Also, there have been black characters in Disney's films, just none of them have been leading roles. This is all about to change with Disney's new animated feature, The Princess and the Frog which is due out some time this year.
