I don't get some americans... They go on about what a fine country the US is and how it's every american citizen's right to own firearms so that they can protect themselves. Now, how come it's such an incredible place to live in when there are so many bad guys there that everone and their grandma' need guns for protection? Isn't it the people that make a country great?
I salute the woman who barged in on the Jehova's Witness' service. She had every right to do that and it's good that she did, so they themselves got a taste of their own medicine. I hope they left her alone after that.
Interesting. Ice swimming is apparently so unusual in the US that it is seen only in the form of charity events or some publicity stunt. While where I live it's the most common thing that wouldn't raise an eyebrow.
TimmyIsEvil: That "phenomenon" occurs when textures are applied to a 3d sphere without the correct uvw-coordinates. In other words, it's a glitch in GoogleEarth's programming and not in the maps themselves.
