Reminds me of a case study we did in my abnormal psych class. A guy thought he was being followed by the government and the paranoia started to interrupt his daily life so badly that they diagnosed him with paranoid schizophrenia. After his psychiatrist did a little digging they found out he actually was being followed.

WoW is so boring, and I really tried to like it, but all of my friends are or were addicted to it. Most of them had to stop themselves because it was interfering with their jobs and schoolwork. I still have one friend that hasn't stopped playing, of course I haven't seen him in almost a year because he won't go out anymore. He literally plays all day and night. The last time I saw him he was incredibly thin and pale from not leaving his room, not even for food. Last year he said he had logged almost 100 days of game play. I know there are casual WoW gamers out there (I guess I was one of them when I played) but I've seen more addicted players than casual ones. There are even support groups for people who have lost their relationships/families due to WoW. It's kinda crazy.

Yay! Another memory from my childhood! I still have a bunch of Asterix books. There is a theme park in Paris called Park Asterix, it's very fun!

OMG!!! This brings back so many memories. When I was little I lived in France and I used to watch this all the time! -sniffle- Where has the time gone?

lol I guess I'll have to find the videos on the stupidity of American citizens. When asked to point out France/Iraq/Pakistan and other countries, they marked those countries as being Australia. There are idiots in every country.

I have a friend who has a son just like this. It's terrible and sad, but I really support the parents on their decision. She doesn't have a clue of what's going on anyways, and periods would be painful and confusing. Most mentally challenged females have a hard time recognizing and accepting their periods, and each time it occurs they feel they are dying or are injured. Also, the sad truth of it is, if her parents were to die or somehow she ended up being cared for by other people, there is a high incidence of rape among caretakers and their patients. Would it really be fair for her to be raped and bear the offspring of some twisted mind? I don't think it's selfish at all.

wee I found the secret things! lol I found them before I read the passage, so I was sorta wondering "why the heck is there a piece of pie on the floor?"

haha that reminds me of the time I was behind this lady at a sandwich shop and she said "I want a cheesy chicken sandwich, but without cheese." Even though the normal chicken sandwich was listed on the menu right above it.

In regards to most of the toys... stupid kids and lazy parents ruin it for everyone. We had sky dancers, we never hurt ourselves with them. We were careful and not retarded.

except for the atomic energy thing, that's kinda scary

Man what's with all the emo people? Skip over an entry you don't like and go cry in a corner.

I think politics have the right to be here just like anything else, Alex. Your blog, you post what you want. I'll still read it even if a post or two doesn't interest me.
