Ubisoft will need all the PR it can get as long as it uses this ridiculous DRM system, that prevents paying customers from playing and damages their savegames while pirates can play without any problems.
"Simply go about your day, look good and stay connected."
Isn't it just great how "stay connected" means: broascasting your life without giving a damn about the lives of your friends?
It's the perfect acessory for people who see themselves as the "stars" of their network. For all those with a less pathological tendency in relationships, a gadget that lets you recieve updates as well would be nice.
(But you could always use a handy for that... somehow killing the concept of "No phone ... etc.")
It's a fabricated story. The Sun took the research, which dealt with the cases of syphilis in Middlesbrough and connected them with the finding that other cities in the area had an above average usage of socian networks (not Middlesbrough, though!). http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2904897/Sex-diseases-soaringbrdue-to-Facebook-romps.html
The professional journalists (and not blogging amateurs) at the Daily Telegraph proceeded to report, that the researchers had put this "finding" forward. Then, the rest of the quality media spread the "news" across the globe

I have to agree with Markus74. In addition, bacterias are prokaryotes, which means they have a higher mutation rate anyway (their DNA istn't tucked safely away in a cell core). But then again: It's art, it doesn't have to work.
